Adminstration official advocates cutting Iraq funding
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff suggested cutting the funding of the Iraq war by 40% today.
While conceding that the cause is important, Chertoff noted the huge expenditures in previous years and added, "Is it correct to assume they should continue to get the same amount of money, year after year after year after year?"
What's that? He was talking about cutting security funds for New York?
Never mind.
