Court upholds Padilla detention
Federal appeals court: President can detain U.S. citizen without charges.

If one U.S. citizen (the president for example) can detain [another] U.S. citizen without charges, doesn't it therefore follow that one US citizen (anyone) can kill another US citizen (the president for example) without charges?
If the law doesn't apply to all, the law doesn't apply to any. Can't be simpler.
